Since 2019, every Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa has been intentionally designed as an Xperience—where fashion, confidence, wellness and community come together to inspire lasting transformation.

Every movement starts with a conversation.

Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa began as a digital movement, using storytelling and social media to challenge beauty standards, celebrate body confidence and amplify the voices of plus-size women across Africa. Long before the first event, a community was already taking shape.

From conversation to community.

After years of building a movement online, Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa hosted its first live Xperience in Kampala, Uganda. More than a fashion event, it became a powerful celebration of confidence, representation and African womanhood, bringing together women who had finally found a space where they felt seen, heard and celebrated.

When the world paused, confidence didn't.

As the pandemic reshaped how communities connected, Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa reimagined the festival as a digital Xperience. Through live conversations, fashion, wellness and storytelling, the movement proved that confidence and connection could thrive beyond physical spaces.

Distance never defined our community.

The Virtual Xperience brought women together across borders through inspiring conversations, expert panels and meaningful storytelling. It reinforced one belief that continues to define the movement today: confidence grows when women feel connected, regardless of where they are in the world.

Confidence is powerful, but community makes it unstoppable.

Hosted in London, The Womanhood Xperience united women for a day of connection, learning, healing and celebration. More than an event, it reminded every woman that confidence is strengthened through community—and that no woman should walk her journey alone.
