Doreen Namutebi founded Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa in 2016 after recognising the lack of representation for plus-size women within African fashion. What began as a fashion movement has grown into a global platform championing body confidence, representation and inclusive wellbeing.

Today, Doreen is an international speaker, confidence coach and entrepreneur whose work has empowered women across the UK, Uganda and beyond. Through fashion, storytelling, education and wellness, she continues to challenge harmful beauty standards while helping women build confidence from within.

Dr Maggie Kigozi is one of Africa's most respected business leaders, mentors and public servants. As Patron of Plus-Size Fashion Fest Africa, she champions the movement's vision of empowering women through confidence, leadership and opportunity.

Her decades of experience in business, investment and public service bring invaluable guidance to the movement, helping inspire the next generation of African women to lead with purpose and impact.
